Wondering What to Wear?
Wondering what to wear to your engagement session? First and foremost, wear what makes you feel the most comfortable! Some couples choose to dress up elegantly while others gravitate more towards bold color and a more casual style. My goal is to capture you in your element (limit 1-2 outfits per session). No matter what you wear be sure to wear shoes that you are comfortable moving around in. If you want to bring a favorite book, heirloom, or meaningful prop please do! Props are a great way to make your engagement session totally unique!
Five Tips on What to Wear
#1: Don’t try to MATCH
Try instead to pick outfits that coordinate. After all, if everyone wore the same color at their engagement session how boring would those images be?
A few colors that rock together:
- Blue and Gold
- Red and Black
- Green and Gold
- Burgundy and Gray
- Navy and Red
#2: Don’t be afraid to accessorize!
#3: AVOID busy patterns and graphics on your clothing
#4: Empty your pockets!
You don’t want to have keys and phones showing through your pockets! Ladies be sure to remove hair ties from your wrist!
#5: Clean the ring!
Above all…RELAX! You do not need to be a pro at having your photo taken. I will pose and style you along the way. Remember these are your engagement photos and they should express the personality that you two share as a couple. Get ready to have fun!
