Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell
All great love stories have their beginning. Kristine and Cole met while working at Menards. Close friends of Cole say that when they first met Kristine they knew she was out of Coles league-and yet they clicked. Funny how love does that.
On the day of the wedding we first met at Kristine’s home to begin with photos of the girls getting ready. I secretly love when a couple chooses to get ready at their own home. I get to see a personal piece to their own lives before marriage, the building block of what is to come. It’s also a time when I get to learn more about their own personality, making me fall even deeper in love with their love story.
After getting ready with close friends Kristine headed to the venue to prepare for the ceremony. The happy couple were married at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg automobile museum in Auburn, IN. This was my first time at the venue. Talk about beautiful! The ceremony itself was held on the grand staircase in the center of the room. Kristine’s dress was full of beaded detail. Her bridesmaids wore gorgeous champagne tone sequin dresses. Both looked stunning on the staircase under the ambient lighting and shimmered as the candles that adorned the staircase flickered with warmth. After saying “I Do” we headed outdoors into the chilly October air just as the sun was setting for bride and groom photos.
The wedding day of Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell was full of beautiful moments, from a ceremony on the grand staircase, to a romantic reception, complete with the couple making a grand entrance driving a sports car straight into the reception hall! Congratulations to the happy couple.
