Lauryn and Matt met in February. When their eyes first met, they instantly knew they that they were meant to be. Isn’t it funny how love works like that?

On the day of Lauryn and Matt’s wedding I arrived at Lauryn’s sisters home to capture images of Lauryn getting ready for her wedding day. Before the ceremony the wind rustled the treetops, as we had a beautiful first look outdoors with Lauryn’s father. The heartfelt moment was followed by light laughter amongst Lauryn and her two sisters as they showed me their matching gold heart bracelets and shared briefly how excited they were for Lauryn.

After, we made our way to the center of town, to the Miller Park Gazebo for the ceremony. Lauryn’s father walked her down the aisle to Matt, her groom in waiting. The ceremony was beautiful. Matt was handsome in his tux and tie. The lace of Lauryns boho style wedding gown complimented the glam of her gorgeous bridal bouquet. Vows exchanged, a kiss was shared, and the preacher announced Matt and Lauryn as Mr. & Mrs. Bennett. Guests then joined the happy couple at Hartley Hills in Hagerstown, Indiana for a reception of celebration.

If you have read any of my blog posts then you know that bride and groom portraits are my favorite part of the wedding day. Matt and Lauryn in their schedule choose to have a full hour of bride and groom portraits! I’ll admit, I selfishly took advantage of that full hour! I mean how could I not? Take a peek below at how stunning they looked. The passion between them and love in the air is too romantic not to share.
