They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. If this is true, then Luther and Victoria will have the luckiest of all the October 26th marriages, because on their wedding day it poured. If you have never been to the Pioneer Engineer Club in Rushville, Indiana, then I highly suggest you check it out. I live about 30minutes from the venue and had never heard of it until Luther and Victoria’s wedding. It’s a hidden gem, set back in a wooded hideaway surrounded by trees, bridges, and beautiful nature.

Luther and Victoria began dating in high school, but their love story has an even sweeter beginning. Luther told me that he and Victoria were in the same class in second grade. At the time Luther had a big crush on Victoria. He told his teacher in second grade that he was going to marry Victoria one day…and now has.

One thing I admired so much about Luther and Victoria’s wedding day was their patience. They didn’t let the rain dampen their day. They truly rolled with the punches, setting up a tent outdoors for the reception, and having no problem at all getting a little rained on for a set of gorgeous portraits. After all, life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. But lucky for us- love always shines thru the rain.
