A Sweet Beginning at Henry County Memorial Park

HENRY COUNTY MEMORIAL PARK- NEW CASTLE, INDIANA

2019 is a big year for Luther and Victoria. They are getting married AND Victoria is graduating from Purdue University! Victoria and Luther kicked off this epic year with a winter engagement photo session at Henry County Memorial Park in New Castle, Indiana.

When Luther and Victoria informed me they wanted a winter engagement session I was instantly excited. After all, snow means lots of snuggles! High school sweethearts, Victoria and Luther were not about to let the cold stop them. In 28 degree weather, they wrapped themselves in each others arms and trudged thru snow and ice. All the while, the electricity and chemistry between the two kept the cold chills away.

Luther and Victoria began dating in high school, but their love story has an even sweeter beginning. Luther told me that he and Victoria were in the same class in second grade. At the time Luther had a big crush on Victoria. He told his teacher in second grade that he was going to marry Victoria one day…and now he is.

I love when couples bring props to their engagement sessions. It makes the images a little more meaningful and adds a little fun. Mid session Victoria and Luther revealed from their backpack hot cocoa, glass mugs, and mini marshmallows! We incorporated their props with a little cuddle time by the snow covered pond. Just as we began this part of our session snow began to fall creating an even more romantic time.

Luther and Victoria will marry this October in Rushville, Indiana at the Pioneer Engineers Club of Indiana. I am so very excited to spend their wedding day with them!
